Travel
All our 6-night and 10-night cruises depart on a Saturday, our 3-night cruises depart on a Saturday or Tuesday. Your embarkation/disembarkation points will depend on your cruise itinerary. The majority of our cruises depart from Oban on the west coast of Scotland, other departure points are Inverness and Kirkwall.
- 'Loch Ness and the Caledonian Canal' cruise departs from either Oban or Inverness.
- 'Orkney: A Coastal Odyssey' cruise departs from Oban or Kirkwall.
For our 'Orkney: A Voyage through Time' you will embark and disembark in Kirkwall, Mainland, Orkney.

Boarding
Boarding your vessel is not permitted before the designated time, as preparations are still underway for our guests. Boarding for all our cruises takes place between 3:00 and 3:15 pm, with departure typically an hour later. To ensure a smooth arrival, guests receive detailed joining instructions several weeks before their cruise.
Disembarking
All cruises disembark at approximately 10.30 am on the last day of the cruise.

Oban Bay, Oban
By train: If arriving by train to Glasgow or Edinburgh, there is an excellent (and scenic) train route from Glasgow to Oban departing at 08.22, 10.34 and 12.23 arriving in Oban approximately 3 hours later.
By air: If flying to Glasgow International Airport, telephone numbers for airport taxis can be provided. The transfer takes around 2.5 hours to 3 hours each way.
By bus: There are regular buses from Buchanan Street Station, Glasgow or St Andrews Bus Station, Edinburgh.
By car: Coming from the south, Oban is approximately 2.5 hours to 3 hours from Glasgow Airport. Cars may be left in secure paid parking in Oban. Please contact us directly for information on EV charging points.
