- The Clyde was our original cruising ground – this was our first cruising area, so we know all the best anchorages and places to visit.
- Mount Stuart House and Gardens – this Gothic mansion built by the Marquis of Bute in 1877, was the most advanced house of its time. Features include, indoor swimming pool, marble abbey and marble hall, lavish rooms and world class gardens.
- Campbeltown is one of the five whisky producing regions in Scotland – and was immortalized in the song ‘Campbeltown Loch I wish you were whisky’. The town still has three distilleries, Springbank, Glen Scotia and Glengyle.
- Castles – the coastline of this area is dotted with castles including Inveraray Castle on Loch Fyne, Carrick Castle on Loch Goil, Brodick Castle on Arran, Lochranza Castle, Arran, Rothesay Castle on the Isle of Bute, Tarbert Castle, Saddel Abbey on the Kintyre Peninsula, Skipness Castle, Culzean Castle, Ayrshire.
- Scenery – Kyles of Bute, Arran, Kintyre, Bute, Loch Goil, Loch Long Loch Fyne, Holy Loch.
