The 2019 Awards season is now upon us and we are delighted that the Majestic Line has been shortlisted for a number of different awards:
Highlands and Islands Tourism Awards 2019 - nominated in the 'Innovation in Tourism' category
Wave Awards 2020 - nominated in the 'Favourite Specialist Cruise Line' category
Scotsman Food and Drink Awards 2019 - finalist in two categories 'Best Use of Scottish Produce' and 'Your Hidden Gem'
The Highlands and Islands Tourism Awards 2019
These esteemed Awards, now in their 15th year, identify, highlight and reward excellence throughout the hospitality and tourism industries within the Highlands and Islands.
For 2019 there are 15 awards up for grabs covering the various facets of the customer / visitor experience of our tourism industry. The winners will be announced at a prestigious Awards Ceremony and Dinner which will take place on Friday 1st November 2019 in the capital and heart of the Highlands, Inverness. The Majestic Line is nominated in the 'Innovation in Tourism' category.
Highlands and Islands Tourism Awards are working with the Scottish Thistle Awards again this year and each category winner, with the exception of Our Highland Rising Star and Highland Ambassador, will automatically become a finalist at the Scottish Thistle Awards Final in March 2020.
The Wave Awards 2020
The Wave Awards celebrate the very best of the UK’s cruise industry. The ‘Oscars’ of cruising, they recognise and reward excellence and innovation in an industry that is continuously evolving to deliver exceptional experience, both on board and ashore. We were so pleased to be a finalist in 2019 in the 'Best Specialist Cruise Line' category, and you can imagine how delighted we were to find out we had been shortlisted again in the "Favourite Specialist Cruise Line" category. The Scotsman Food and Drinks Awards 2019
We were thrilled to discover we had been nominated in two categories at this year's Scotsman Food and Drinks Awards. Our chefs use the best of local speciality produce in their menus, often stopping to pick up local delicacies on route, so were delighted to find we were nominated in the 'Best Use of Scottish Produce' ! We were also nominated in the 'Your Hidden Gem' category voted for by the public. The awards ceremony was held in Brewhemia, in the heart of Edinburgh city centre, and the food and drinks served was testament to the exceptionally high standard of entries. Many congratulations to the winners Edinbane Lodge (for Best Use of Scottish Produce) and Colonsay Pantry (for Hidden Gem)!
