Islay and the Southern Hebrides - Glen Shiel

Fantastic weather and a brilliant crew made for an outstanding week's cruise aboard Glen Shiel. We did so much, and saw so much, that I had to carefully plan shower times so that we did not miss out on anything! From the beautiful gardens on Gigha to the beautiful beaches (and corncrakes) of Oronsay with the added bonus of Iona, Staffa and Lunga, we were very blessed by good weather and glorious travel conditions. The highlight, however, was Chloe playing her fiddle as we went right into Fingal's cave on the tender. We are not ashamed to say that there were tears in our eyes - such an emotional and glorious experience - we know that we were very lucky to enjoy this privilege. Thank you again to a wonderful crew, Neil, Alan, Chloe, and Kirsty, and our fellow passengers for a wonderful week. Cannot wait to book the next one.
