Islay and the Southern Hebrides - Glen Shiel
Rob Norman
Service was second to none! The crew of four were brilliant. Chef Graeme is a complete wizard, and produced superbly presented dinners in storm conditions when it was quite tricky moving around the ship at all! Weather prevented visits to places that we’d hoped for, but the alternative landings were fascinating and beautiful. We saw osprey and eagle nests thanks to the crew’s intimate knowledge of the area. Only fault we could find was with the fitting of the accommodation. Our cabin and bathroom doors are hard to open and shut, and bang against things if not shut tight. The shower door slid back and forth with the ship’s motion and we had to drape towels over it to stop this. Cabins lack storage, despite there being enough space for shelves or drawers. Everything else was first rate.
