We're safely back from our Wilderness Cruise. The cats are well. It was wonderful.
You don't need me to tell you that the food was delicious, the itinerary fascinating, the crew delightful. What even the Majestic Line can't guarantee was that we were a thoroughly congenial party who said goodbye to each other yesterday with real sadness; and we had splendid weather.
I am a great fan of the Shipping Forecast, and for all the rest of my life when they wind up with "...from Ardnamurchan Point to Cape Wrath", I will remember with pleasure: Been There, Done That.
