A Taste of the Hebrides - Glen Tarsan

To all Majestic Line staff, I would like to thank you all for the wonderful holiday I had on the Glen Tarsan October 1st/4th. From office staff to crew and all the others behind the scenes. What a lovely boat. I enjoyed it so much, this holiday had been on my to do list for a long time and it certainly didn't disappoint. We had the best of Scottish sunshine with lovely blue skies but also the cloud formations and darker skies which make the lochs in particular so atmospheric. The crew Duggie, Steve, Will and Alan were all so kind and helpful, nothing too much trouble, happy to have a chat when they could and looking to keep us safe and comfortable. For once in my life I felt thoroughly spoilt! I loved going ashore for our walks to those isolated places and also having a laugh in the evening with the rest of the passengers watching 'The Vital Spark' ( My dad, as a scot in exile, used to watch it years ago) The passengers too were such a nice crowd of people, 2 Scots, 1 other English person, and 4 Americans, all so interesting to talk to and easy to get on with. As a lover of fish food I was in foodie heaven! All the food was beautifully prepared and presented. Whenever I have a tot of whiskey on my porridge I shall think of the Glen Tarsan.
